Chairperson's Role Description


Listen objectively to suggestions, before deciding the outcome.

Steer the club in the right direction.
 
Make weekly announcements on club night by
	researching race results
	researching forthcoming events
 
Maintain a motivating presence in at club nights, events, social gatherings
	in person
	via social media, facebook
	by emails etc
 
Respond to queries raised by any club/non-club member (written/verbal)
 
Facilitate & attend all Committee and Members meetings
 
Liaise with other clubs regarding the organisation of road and fell interclub events
	agreeing dates
	proposing and discussing potential changes
	agreeing changes to the interclub series, eg new vet team category etc
 
Promote the club when and whereever possible
